​Dress for Comfort*

• Even on hot days, many archers wear lightweight, long-sleeve shirts to avoid sunburn.

• A hat to protect your head may be needed

• Jeans or denim of any color are not allowed during competition.

• Open-toed shoes/flip flops/sandals are unacceptable while competing.

• Arm and chest guards are needed to protect the archer

Clothing and Jewelry**

Don’t wear clothing that has lots of things that may catch on the string as it moves past your chest.  

• Jackets with zippers

• Bulky pockets

• Anything that sticks out is going to be a problem.

Also, if you have necklaces, dangly earrings, or facial jewelry, you will want to remove it until you have a good sense of whether it is going to interfere with shooting.
